Francis Emmanuel Chinda (Graduate Member, IEEE, Senior Member, IAEEE, Re-COREN) received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, in 2007, and a Master’s of Science (MSc) in Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering from the University of Nottingham, 2016. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from UniversitiTeknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, in 2023. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Head of Renewable Energy, Smart Grid and Electrification Research Group (RESGERG) at Federal University of Science and Technology, Babura, Nigeria. His research interests include radio frequency devices, renewable energy, smart grid, IoT, Sensors, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
